A quick coffee break on a terrace, and it’s already time to collect some souvenirs.For food lovers, no getaway is complete without a tasting tour! The Cirque de Mourèze : nature, the sculptor

Just 15 km from Lake Salagou, enter a world of rocks shaped by time! Here, nature has let its imagination run wild—limestone formations sculpted by water, wind, and centuries of erosion create silhouettes resembling animals, people, and even… hats. A perfect spot for a fun family adventure! For hiking lovers, the Cirque de Mourèze offers several marked trails for all skill levels. The Parc Trail (1.5 km) is an easy and educational stroll, while the Grand Tour (7 km) leads you into the heart of the cirque and up to Mont Liausson’s belvedere, where breathtaking panoramic views await—over the Cirque de Mourèze, Lake Salagou, and its ochre hills. The Hérault Gorges : off to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert!

Just a short drive from the campsite, take a journey through time! With its medieval streets and UNESCO-listed Abbey of Gellone, Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert feels like a real-life time machine (no costume required—just a camera and good walking shoes!). It’s also a significant stop on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route.Nearby, the Pont du Diable (Devil’s Bridge), one of France’s oldest medieval bridges, offers a spectacular view of the gorges and serves as a popular summer swimming spot.

The Saint-Michel-de-Grandmont Priory : a spiritual and natural retreat

Located 25 km from the campsite, embark on an immersive underground adventure!
